About Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Foundation
Our Story
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Foundation is a not-for-profit public charitable trust dedicated to the upliftment and empowerment of economically weaker, underprivileged and marginalized communities across India. Named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India's first Minister of Education and a recipient of the Bharat Ratna, the Foundation is inspired by his vision of inclusive education, social reform, equality and empowerment. We believe that access to education, healthcare, dignity and opportunities should not be limited by a person's economic or social circumstances. Our work focuses on creating meaningful opportunities and providing support to individuals and communities through initiatives in education, healthcare, senior citizen welfare, women empowerment, skill development, community development and social welfare. We work closely with communities, volunteers, donors, institutions and organizations to understand genuine needs and develop practical initiatives that create meaningful and sustainable impact.
